Camp Eagle Memories Last Forever

We still remember our summers at camp—making friends, going deeper with God, and challenging ourselves to try new things.

Independence is empowering for kids. Summer camp at Camp Eagle lets your child try different activities, build friendships, and practice independent decision-making. Any summer camp can deliver independence and friendship. Camp Eagle is different.

The goal of Camp Eagle is to help you grow in your faith and have fun while you're at it. We believe that the Christ-like change experienced during their one week of camp will impact the rest of your camper's life.

So, take a leap. Take a chance on fun. Our caring staff, hired for their passion, experience, and faith, partnered with our experience-based programming, will send your camper home resilient, confident, and having heard the gospel.

Preparing Your Camper

We want your camper (and you) to enjoy Camp Eagle. So, here's our advice on how to prep your camper for adventure at camp!

Start Talking Now

If your camper has never been away overnight, try a weekend at a friend's house. This will also give you time to talk through any concerns or anxiety you or your camper may have about camp.

Get active!

If your camper is unaccustomed to lots of physical activity, prepare for camp adventures by slowly increasing their activities in the weeks leading up to camp.

What to Pack
What to leave at home
  • You’ll need your cell phones for the trip but once you’re here, we suggest you leave it in your room.
  • Walkie Talkies
  • Knives, weapons, or anything sharp
  • Pets—not even little cute pets.
  • Alcohol or drugs
  • Your Own Harness / Helmet
  • MP3 players
  • Electronic Devices
Writing Your Camper

We encourage you to email your child daily. We provide a “Camper Mail” Service for $10 that you can find on your account under “Purchasable Add Ons”. Instructions for using this service will be emailed to you just before your camper arrives. The one-way email service will be active the day your camper arrives at camp. Messages are delivered every day at lunch. We find that the best messages are ones where you tell your camper how proud of them you are and how you are looking forward to hearing about their time at camp. Refrain from telling your camper how much you miss them, or other phrases that might make them homesick. It’s always good to close with “See you on Saturday!” Remember, campers do not have access to computers at camp and won’t respond to your email (unless they write a letter home).

Camp Credit & Squirrel Bags

Visit your account to deposit funds for the purchase of snacks or merchandise, or pre-order a “Squirrel Bag” filled with goodies and gear for your camper.
